The Shyam Bhatia CRICKET FOR CARE foundation was formally incorporated in 2007 as a not for profit organization whose mandate is to provide coaching and equipment to underprivileged children around the world.

It pledges to be committed to educating young adults on discipline, teamwork and leadership through sport. These are core values the founder of the Alam Steel Group and the foundation is a way of sharing the lessons he learnt.

The foundation has raised over $1 million since inception.
